YankeeDog
That's an M8 Howitzer Motor Carriage. Basically, an M5 Stuart light tank with the 37mm turret replaced by an open-topped turret with a 75mm howitzer. Primarily an indirect-fire SP artillery piece. Occasionally used in the direct fire role as well. By Mid-1944, the M8 HMC was on it's way out, and was being replaced by the 105mm Sherman. But there will still a fair number in service.
Field Marshal Blücher
Well thats good news. CMBN threads didnt differentiate between craters and trenches so it did sound like no deform rule was the same for all. The only reason BFC doesn't want trenches to deform terrain is that it breaks FOW. You could "scout" your opponent's trench lines by just looking to see where the terrain was deformed.

Are these types above ground and invisible to the enemy?
Field Marshal Blücher
Are these types above ground and invisible to the enemy? Yes, until they're spotted. Basically, the old type from CMSF cut into the ground, so you could just go around looking for depressions that shouldn't be there.
user38
Oy, by the way, noticed that I'm a SENIOR MEMBER, when the heck did that happen....hmmm, does BFC give senior discounts? I think you become a senior when you turn 100.
