I can logon to the forums but when I try and do the pre-order, I get a message 'invalid username or password'. I know that there is some data center maintenance going on across a lot of Paypal subsidiaries (which includes Payflow and Verisign and several other credit card processing facilities), so perhaps that's what it was.
