Mudhugger Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 My anti-virus quarantined this file: regsvr32_dx7vbdll.exe from \\global conflict\ misc Is this a legitimate game file? Will the game play properly without it? It was flagged as having a Trojan.Gen virus? I have no mods and only downloaded the 1.04 patch. I know very little about these things and am wondering. Thanks. Hubert Cater Posted January 23, 2011 Share Posted January 23, 2011 Hi Mudhugger, This would be a false positive by your anti-virus but either way you won't need the file to run the game if it is already running properly as it is just used by the installer to register the dx7vb.dll if needed.
