panzermartin
I'm not sure, I've read something about it. In CMSF most vehicles being hit are either blown to pieces or abandoned shortly after KOed. Sometimes its super fast, with crews rapidly bailing out of the tank msecs after the hit. I really liked the repeated penetrations of CMx1 where you were left guessing if that tank with the 3-4 75mm holes is still alive Is that back in CM:BN? Or maybe its already in CMSF but the lethality of the weapons make it go unnoticed?
Field Marshal Blücher
It's already in CM:SF, and goes mostly unnoticed due to high weapon lethality. Saw this a bunch when playing RvR.

Really, basically whatever you manage to hit with a 120mm APFSDS DU round is toast. That is not necessarily the case with a round from a 75mm Sherman or German L/48.
panzermartin
Great. I've played my share of RvR but still its hard to find something smaller than 115mm Also, it seems 95% of the rounds in CMSF are of the explosive "flavor".
Erik Springelkamp
Yesterday I saw a CV90 35 mm gun shoot at a BMP at long range for a while, but the kill confirmation only came when I saw some crew members leave the vehicle: that is, I saw evidence of the kill slightly earlier than it was displayed on the vehicle (green base turning red). Which was nice.
