panzermartin
I think sometimes its a bit blurry who has what in CMSF. To the point that in a fast online game you can forget to put troops on some objectives. Yes, CMSF is a turn to a more serious, less gamey approach than the huge flags of CMx1, that attracted your tactics like a magnet. But will we see a bit of an enhacmnet in visual representation of VLs? Something like retain the current painted over zones but add some color/symbols to indicate possesion? It creates tension with the swapping colors and helps the player. It also adds a bit of a wargame atmosphere, a must for every ww2 game. (hope no neon greens for that era Lastly display of score was a helpful tool in CMx1. A percent might look simplistic now but maybe a feedback pop up window on how you are doing (objcs, losses, army morale etc) would be nice.
noxnoctum
+1. I actually wouldn't mind the oldskool flags at all though. I always liked them. And seeing a flag change nationalities then turn gray then switch back again always brought the tension.
