kmead
Sadly the answer is no to both questions. You can run it in Classic but will have to disable the Rave exte4nsion I believe. If you have a second drive or have formatted your HD with multiple partitions, you can install 9.1 and boot from either partition. CMBO runs excellently under 9.1. They arre planning a complete rewrite of the game engine in about a year and a half (or so). The new engine will likely use OpenGL required for OSX and will be fully compatible. The current engine uses the Rave API which funs in emulation under OSX and is in t compatible with the coding of CMBO's game engine. Just as an FYI, CMBO was coded on a Mac and ported to PCs, when they started Rave was all the rage and by the time Apple announced their position for the future it was too late for BTS to restart. (Keep in mind they have baiscally 1 programmer so they can't redirect too easily/quickly) Those of us that use Macs have bemoaned this sad state of affairs. Before the Crash of 2001 ( the bbs database blew up) there were a number of threads on this subject. Hope this helps. Sorry if it isn't what you wanted to read
