1mickeemao1
Hello! My PBEM opponent and myself are really enjoying playing "King Copper Mines" - can anyone suggest more red vs red scenarios, especially ones of a historical nature? Thanks! ~1MM1
Sivodsi
"Eid Offensive" is the most fun I've had in a PBEM in CMSF so far. The more experienced player should attack. Don't think its historical, but so what? Damn fine battle that went down to the wire.
Erwin
Also, "Road to Dinas" is a superb red on red campaign.
1mickeemao1
Thanks for the helpful advice! I'll try all of those.
Sivodsi
Did you read this superb DAR by Hcrof? IIRC he made the scenario available. If you've joined up at World at War, they have a scenario pack which includes at least one balanced Red vs Red scenario.
hcrof
Thanks for recommending my stuff Sivodsi! I said I would make Farm Wars available but then the repository went down at the wrong moment and it got forgotten. I have just uploaded it now so it will pop up soon. I'm still not happy with it, that hill dominates the map too much but right now I don't have the time to change it unfortunately. Maybe in a few months I can give it a workover for a more multidimensional battle.
Gpig
The original CMSF game has a swell Red v Red battle on it that takes place in a down-town core. Can't recall the name, but it's quite the smack-town battle. (Not sure how it plays with v1.2 . . .) Gpig
1mickeemao1
Ha - reading Hcrof's excellent DAR is what got me into the idea of playing Red vs Red. Thanks for posting it, Hcrof! It'll be great to download it and give it a try myself. Now I'm trying to think of historical scenarios I could create that have Red tanks/APCs operating against one another. The Russian/Georgian 2008 conflict seems promising, or perhaps the later stages of the Iran/Iraq war. Anyone else have any ideas?

Gpig Yes, "Strength and Faith" a highly recommended PBEMable game, that one.
Gpig
I would love to play that battle by PBEM. Too bad I've played it already. Twice. Gpig

AkumaSD
Any other recommendations? I'd love to find some good ones against the AI I know it was already mentioned in this thread but I'd second the recommendation of "Road to Dinas". Very well done campaign.
Jonny(FGM)
Yes I've started up that campaign, but I have about 6 ongoing campaigns, none of which i've completed, in fact i've never completed a campaign lol. Was more looking for scenarios
