Saved Game not showing up in Load Game Screen

Recommended Posts

I use the Alt-S command to save games during the order phase and give it a unique name, however, when I come back to the game at a later date my saved game does not show up to be loaded. Should I be redirecting my saved games to some other directory? Confused! Any help would be appreciated.

The Saved Games should default to being saved in the Saved Games directory/folder. Only files listed here and in the Scenarios directory/folder (and not subdirectories/sub-folders of these) will show up in the CM listings. All scenarios read from the Saved Games directory/folder will appear at the top of the list of either the Scenarios or Operations listings. The text color of games in progress should appear a reddish-orange, with all others appearing in white.

Unless the file was over-written (with a file of the same name and extension), deleted (there is a Delete button near the Scenario/Operation selection button when you have a saved game highlighted) or moved to another directory/folder, it should appear in this list. If you remember the file name maybe you should do a search on your hard drive for it or at least look in the Saved Games directory/folder and see if it is actually there.

Thank you all very much for your input. I'm at work right now and when I get home I will look into the suggestions made. I believe I am probably loading from the CD and thus the comments received are valid...if when I get home and check things out and things don't get worked out I'll let you all know..either way. smile.gif Boy...you know this game has got into your blood when you can't stop thinking about it at work...thanks again
