Resolution Trouble

Recommended Posts

Greetings All,

I am having trouble getting a resolution for the game that I am happy with.

Is there a way to change it?

W2K

450mhz daul pentium II

256 Megs RAM

Diamond Viper 770 (TNT2 32 megs RAM)

DirectX 8.0

17" Monitor

Running version 1.12

I normally run my machine in 1264X768 and 16 bit color.

The game is only letting me run at low res 640x480 :(

Is there a way to change this and get higher res? I should think with my system I would be able to do it.

Can anyone help me??

Thanks

Delete the preferences file at C:\PROGRAM FILES\CMBO\Combat Mission Bynd Ovr Prefs. The next time you launch CM you should go through a resolution selection process that should start at your current desktop resolution (or close to it - CM uses "standard" resolutions, of which 1264 x 768 isn't). I'd guess that the first resolution that CM should attempt on your system is 1024 x 768. The refresh rate may be higher than what you're currently running. If necessary, you may need to change your desktop resolution to something more standard (at or above what you want CM to play at) and see if this helps the detection process.
