Diemos
A quick look through the settings_input.xml file, it shows that NAVAL_TURNING can be controlled by a joystick axis, but I have not been able to get it to work, and there is no corresponding entry in the game Options. I have rudder pedals connected, and would like to use them to control the boat's rudder in analog mode. Is this possible, and if so, how do you enable it? Thanks! softail06
Bump** What is there only one knowledgeable person here to answer questions... This would be an awesome add-on, but if it works I even could think that the designers would have enabled it, but still keeping my fingers crossed!! P.S. Wish you could use a C/H flight sim yoke, closed thing to a pt boat rudder wheel I wish I could use
BeauBrummie
mmm, I agree. I also miss the interaction from my force feedback stick. Those machine guns and cannons would feel great as well as looking great.
Diemos
Kind of surprised there isn't more interest in this topic... Normally you mention "mod" or "xml" and you're at three pages by Tuesday! And speaking of a yoke, how about a Logitech G25 racing wheel? 435 degrees of rotation, and with the auto-centering turned off, it could handle just like an actual rudder! softail06
Yes but now all we need is some one alittle more into the to figure out how to get it working. Being as new as it is I guess we will just have to give it more time, just hope it's quicker than xmas.
