AleMichi Posted October 25, 2009 Share Posted October 25, 2009 I installed ToW1 with the new OS Windows 7 and it runs, but after upload with any patch (Uber, mission_pack, addon, Jsh o other) it not runs! I am afraid of the future of this excellent game. I hope for an appropriate patch from 1c Company. (No problems for ToW2 and its patches). The last questions is: what is the best OS to run ToW1? The best OS for TOW1 I would think, would be the one it was designed towards, which would be Windows XP...Windows XP in my opinion was and is the best OS still out there;)... AleMichi Posted October 26, 2009 Author Share Posted October 26, 2009 I have Battlefront English (from Battlefront web shop) and Battlefront European (set on Italiano from shop). I have installed in W7 the Battlefront English version from Theatre_of_War_setup.exe (using my last licenze Key), but at the end of the installation the game don't start. At this point, I have unistalled the Battlefront English version (forgetting to unlicenze) and I have installed ToW from my CD (Battlefront European set Italiano) and the game works on W7; then I have installed the Battlefront English ToW_Mission_Pack_Setup.exe and the game don't start.
