Aragorn2002
Superb Panther mod, Earl, and the first for GD, as far as I know. You really have the talent to pick out remarkable camo patterns. EXCELLENT!!
Earl Grey
Another victim of the men of PzRgt "Großdeutschland"! Burning filelds - only the beginning... And in case some of you wonder what this is all about: It's about a new mod based on a vehicle of PzGrenDiv "Großdeutschland" seen on the Eastern Front, summer of 1944. It can be downloaded at not only one, but even two places: - "The Few Good Men" Wargaming Club - The CM Mods Warehouse And it is indeed only the beginning... more to come soon!
von Schweinewitz
And it is indeed only the beginning... more to come soon! I'm looking forward to that; I really like your work!

Aragorn2002
I'm looking forward to that; I really like your work! Me too! And so do others. Earl even won the FGM Modders Medal for this outstanding mod at The Few Good Man. And they don't come cheap! Well deserved if you ask me.
Earl Grey
Thanks for the feedback, guys! You know, a modder not only needs downloads for his mods, but also that some people tell him form time to time they like what he does. After all, we're putting lots of time into this usually - it's not as if such a od could be done in a couple of hours!
Der Alte Fritz
It is all great work and I still think that there is a call for Fall Weiss mods, it is certainly on my machine cheers

Chrizwit2
Downloaded your panther from GAJ. Crisp, dramatic camo, really like it. Well done sir.
Aragorn2002
It is indeed. I'm planning on making a series of scenarios on the GD in the Baltics in 1944, and this mod inspires me to get on with it. I would love to see more GD mods for that period...
Earl Grey
Oh, I will certainly provide you with some kind of "GD" mod set... I got somewhat attached to that division while playing a CM campaign and thought it to be a nice theme for a set of mods.
Earl Grey
Quick update: I have found more photographic evidence indicating that the "GD" Panthers carried crosses as well, which have now been included. Everyone please download again to get the updated BMP files. Sorry for that...

Earl Grey
That would be absolutely great, Earl! Can you tell me which vehicles you will include? Currently planned are a SdKfz251/1, a SdKfz251/9, a JgdPzIV, a PzIVH and at least one StuGIII variant (maybe two, depending on a number of factors).

Aragorn2002
Earl, very nice, especially the Jgdpz IV and the Pz IVH for GD would be superb. Hi George, yes, they are very nice too. What do you think about this Panther mod? It's good, isn't it? And when can we expect one of your great scenarios again?
Earl Grey
I've some SPW in late war GD camo schemes (taken from some photos). Now those photographs would interest me... I'd have done a pattern of a different unit but with added "GD" insignia. WOuld it be possible to share those photographs or at least point me to them? Thanks in advance!
Heinrich505
Earl Grey, Per your instructions, went back and re-downloaded and the Panther looks great. The crosses are present, and the mod is excellent, right down to the GD unit marking on the front and back. Any GD scenarios/operations would be greatly appreciated so we can use this baby in all its grandeur. Thanks for your efforts and amazing work. Thanks for your efforts and amazing work. Heinrich505 I'm also very grateful to talented modders like Earl Grey. Mods like this make the difference for me. I love them. And since I'm planning on a series of GD scenarios, from Wilkowischken onwards to the other battles in Lithuania in August-September 1944, any GD mods by Earl Grey would be very, very welcome. I hope to have the first of them ready in the autumn.
Earl Grey
And the saga continues: Based on actual photographs of the division seen in Lithuania during the summer of 1944 with optional insignia for two other divisions. Aragorn2002
I love it, Earl! Good to see this game still has the attention of good modders like yourself.
