"Air guards" for LAVs?

Recommended Posts

Saw these pics today and thought it could be helpful in some situations in CMSF. They could, of course, be told to button/open up by selecting the passenger unit and issueing the "open up" command.

Wearing goggles and with a rag over his mouth to protect him from blowing sand and debris, an infantryman with Company D, 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 8, stands in the open troop hatch of a light armored vehicle as it roars down the Iraqi desert, April 19. What type of LAV is that to the left? Raised superstructure and fold-out hatches. That looks like the only LAV-A2-L (logistics) vehicle pict I've ever seen. I've seen a picts of the LAV-A2-M (mortar), same folding roof hatch but no raised superstructure.
