General_solomon
Hello, I was wondering if someone can create some jungle and mountain scenario's for the base game. thanks
bassplayer192837
any specifics like what forces and units and stuff?
General_solomon
I like to see Blue vs red , where blue goes in the jungle on mission search and destroy. You have to make the parameters so that blue will lose if he gets more than a few killed. maybe it can be turned into a campaign. One more thing, please give the max amount allotted time.
MikeyD
My old "The King Copper Mines" scenario was a tank-heavy combined arms red-on-red ME set in central Africa. Not jungle per se but tropical with dense stands of cultivated palm. It is (was?) on cmmods.com. There's lots of old stuff of mine that's going to have to be transferred over to Repository. At least my 'Africa interface mod pack' is already up.
General_solomon
Mikeyd: i have really enjoyed all your battles. please keep them coming. they get better and better. this is game is alive because of players like you who created all the awesome maps. i rarely play a QB map or the original campaigns. I also love playing maps that have long stretches of fields and villages with lots of ditches for maneuver. thanks again.
Field Marshal Blücher
I'm mostly finished with a 10th Mountain Division campaign set in the mountains of Syria, but I'm waiting on tester feedback before I release it. Also, technically it requires the Marines Module, so I guess it's not for the base game.
General_solomon
I am waiting for my new computer in the next week or two to purchase marines module and will purchase the other releases. I hope other modules include other nations. I would like to see north Koreans, afghans, soviets, Vietnamese, south Americans and central and south Africans. also, improve the editor to include all those nations buildings and add water and weather. one other thing on my wishlist is to have the ability to issue two order at the same time. example and i really want for this reason, be able to issue a fast or quick order and also include a hunt along with it. so when a team runs in the building they are also in a hunt mode as well. right now you have to order a quick to the front door and then hunt in the building, it takes too long for the squad to assemble for the hunt. hopefully this can be added on future modules or updates.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Steve has said numerous times that these things aren't going to happen. As far as I know, the only nations that are being added are Germans, Canadians (?), and Dutch (?). The editor's not going to undergo any major changes, and water will make its first appearance in CMx2: Normandy. Also, try playing around with the weather settings--I think you'll find that the various "haze" weather effects actually do make a difference. It's not the same thing as rain, though.
General_solomon
this is good news at least there will be good battles with blue vs blue. I dont mind seeing USA and british vs germans and dutch
Combatintman
I think Afghans and Soviets just require the suspension of disbelief by using Syrians to be honest. I've been toying around with an Afghanistan circa 1980s campaign. I am eagerly awaiting the British Module so I can put together either a few Helmand style missions or a campaign.
cabal23
I have both a mountain and a jungle scenario soon to be released so keep an eye out. Just tweaking. Meanwhile check out Clear and Present Danger for a nice jungle scenario.
General_solomon
sounds good, do you have any blue vs blue scenarios.
cabal23
Yes to my knowledge there are only two blue on blue scenario's. One is Lone Star Shopping center, and one I did called Army vs. USMC No fighting in the war room. Check them both out.

Sivodsi
sounds good, do you have any blue vs blue scenarios. [gets into blatant self promotion mode] Why settle for blue on blue when you can have purple on purple? This scenario is for human to human play only, however... [/end blatant self promotion mode] well, hell, only 19 downloads? and 1 five star review? At least somebody liked it!
