Nikki Mond
Just wondering if weather can be soft scripted in the mission editor as a trigger. Or is the properties menu the only way to set the weather. Where I am going with this is having fog roll in during battle, or rain stopping, it can get anoying after a while. Gnasher
I just had an RTFM & it doesn't look as if you can do this Nikki, Sneaksie might know of an undocumented feature tho...
Arzok
that would be something very interesting. In the same idea, the time is not running. You can't change from day to night.
Nikki Mond
Yeah I did an RTFM too on both manuals didn't see anything. Arzok, you could set a timer or have the normal trigger stuff kick in but if it can't be scripted then moot point.
Gnasher
Weather must be set by some kind of variable, question I guess is weather that can be changed from within a script, methinks probably & it's not documented within the manuals because it aint pertinent to the quite context specific content of them. Sneaksie what's the score here???
Cpl.Upham
Gnasher! Care to share how you achieved the dark (early morning?) screenies on the St Mere Eglise post?
Gnasher
Sure, I played with the light settings in the mission editor until I got something that looked half decent & didn't crash the game (Played its the operative word here!!). One thing I learned from this is that you can't get full night as there's no moon in game & a black screen is rather boring!
Gnasher
I also set the time to 04:00 & unchecked show sun (I think). I'll check & post the settings later.
