Battlefront.com
That's why Charles wrote "GOOD" and not "AWESOME" in the promo text As it turned out, I think the CMBO was "EXCELLENT" in the context of other wargame AIs. Michael Emrys
I think the AI was tolerably good, although it did do some odd things at times (Cf. "the Dance of Death"). Most of the time it behaved, if not brilliantly, at least intelligently. And even when it didn't (see above), it was entertaining. The main exception was when the Tac AI took over some of my guys and made them do stupid things. That wasn't funny at all. Michael
BFCElvis
Man, seeing those BTS web pages was like stepping back in time. Correct me if my memory is off but didn't the famous Alpha AARs first appear on that site?
Battlefront.com
The CMBO Alpha AARs appeared on CMODs. I think someone cached the thing on another CM website long ago. Fun times. The first AAR we tried to do kept failing because the game refused to stay running. Charles fixed the immediate problems but I had to remake the map from scratch because the file format changed in the process. So they had to duke it out on a very different map in winter instead Steve
