shock
Hello all, I am trying to create my own sound modification of ToW but im stuck.. can anyone kindly give me a directory tree layout of all files within the sounds.SFS ? the reason i ask is because i cant seem to get dr.jones's sfxextractor to view inside the sounds.sfs archive tree so im basicly stuck wondering how people where able to modify sounds in your sound mods. if i dont know the name of the .wav sounds themselves or the folder trees I cant replace & add my own. I am not sure if the sfsextractor version i have is an old version or something but I did follow the instructions correctly & extracted the tool to the missioneditor folder and all i get is a directory of the theater of war game folder within the tool directory list so mounting any .sfs file doesnt do anything. i downloaded it from here: cmmods SFSEXTRACTOR0.3.ZIP Date Entered/Updated: 02/11/2008 ToW Version Number: 1.0 Title (30 char max.): SFSExtractor0.3 binaries Description: This is updated version of the SFSExtractor, it mounts the new patch2.sfs and also has feature to manualy mount new sfs's and unmount those which were manualy added. The manual mount is remembered on the next startups of the application, manual unmounts is also remembered. Designer's battfront.com handle or name::Dr.Jones

shock
k n/m I figured it out.. damn these russian programmers.. They ((all)) seem so hellbent on protecting their source files so badly regardless of, or could ((care less)) of the moderator comunitys or their paying customers wich makes no sense @ all.. like it's some sort of classified top secret video game *rolls eyes* Not every1 disects & prods to cheat! or whatever the excuse.. like crys of copyright blah..blah.. some of us enjoy making our games sound/look better & to (your paying customers) as a hobbiest/moderators point of view.. that is more important. anyr8 .. i'm already fidling with 3d models, animations & textures now that I can find where everything goes hopefully I can fix it up alot better woot
