Madmatt
Hev and MichaelU, While the patch is able to usually automatically locate your CMSF install folder, you can change the destination path. What I want you to do is set the patch to install into a totally new folder. Once its completes manually copy the entire contents of that patch folder and paste them into your current CMSF folder. Now, this is just a test, because the problem with doing it this way is that all the new shortcuts that the patch installer creates will still point to the, now, wrong location. I just want to see if you can manually copy the files and get it to work or if you still get that copy error message. Also, do me a favor and check your read/write permissions for the CMSF folder itself, not just the exe file. Make sure it is NOT set to Read Only. MichaelU
The folder was set to read only. So I unchecked that option and tried installing the patch. But I got the same error message, and when I went and looked again, the folder was back to being read only.
