Abbott
It looks like New Orleans came thru pretty good this time. The storm down graded to a Cat 2 before it made landfall. Good for them!
Affentitten
But now will anyone believe the next "storm of the century" evacuation order?
Abbott
But now will anyone believe the next "storm of the century" evacuation order? Yeah, I have been thinking about that all day. Weird.

Subvet
Yes, we have friends down there that may be in for a rough time. It looks like Hanna won't be that bad, and it will miss my neck of the woods (South Florida) completely. However, Ike is looking down right scary right now. It seems like it was recently just a minor storm and suddenly now it's a Cat 4 monster!

Thanks for the heads up, I will see what I can find on the weather channel.
