JonS
Then again, no reasonable person would call him "average", so perhaps his reputation is safe?
John Kettler
JonS, Color me relieved that the title didn't mean what I thought it might and the information both new to me and remarkable! And how did you do that link? I tried "Go Advanced" on another post but didn't find what I needed. Regards, John Kettler
Moon
John, in the Quick Reply area, there is an icon showing a globe and a chainlink. Type the text you want for the link, for example Linkypoo Now mark the text and click the icon. Enter the URL, click OK. You now have a text with a hyperlink like so: Linkypoo Btw, you can use the button "New Reply" (it's black and sitting on the left hand side at the bottom of the last post OR at the very top above the first post) as well.
Wicky
The link is new fangled vB code based on html tags which only a few secret codebreakers know about. Only people deemed eligible (generally freemasons) are authorised to use it due to its inherent logic that could blow some people's minds as it reveals the underlying matrix that shores up the entire interweb.
JonS
I do it the old fashioned way ... typing the UBB code thingies in by hand. Meh. It works.
John Kettler
Moon, Thanks! Am hoping I have better luck with links here than I did on the earlier boards. There, no matter I did, I couldn't get the feature to work at all. That meant having to do Tiny URL and similar things. Michael Emrys
Btw, you can use the button "New Reply" (it's black and sitting on the left hand side at the bottom of the last post OR at the very top above the first post) as well. And there is also a small button in the bottom right corner of every post labeled "Quick Reply to this Message" if you place the cursor over it. And it also has a button that gives you the option of quoting the post you are replying to. I haven't tried it yet, but I doubt that it gives you the option of editing the quote though. Boo Radley
Chemicals in the hair samples showed that on any given night, a tree-shrew had a 36% chance of being drunk... pfffft! Damn lightweight.
Michael Emrys
But the significant factor is not that the Tree Shrew does an especially laudable job of getting drunk, but that he does it at all. Michael
Mace
It wins. I can't do this bit yet... The shrew's resistance to intoxication suggests its body must have an effective mechanism for breaking down alcohol.
stoat
It wins. I can't do this bit yet... That's because you're drinking isopropol.
SSgt Viljuri
Dunno, but somehow, someway the title for this thread looks to be very suggestive.
Michael Emrys
Dunno, but somehow, someway the title for this thread looks to be very suggestive. Just another dick measuring contest. Michael
