John Kettler Posted July 30, 2008 Share Posted July 30, 2008 daneje, Because the core engine is accessible (not the case in the CM games, nor will ever be), what I'm seeing here reminds me of some of the amazing work people did in the Panzer Elite community many years ago. I worked with several people on gun performance modeling improvements, based on the best data we could find, but we had others who were busily ginning up new vehicles, new buildings, new terrain, etc. Here, though, you've even got new aircraft. I have tried downloading it and I can get the 1.2.1 version, but I cannot download the patch. Does anyone have a link for a different download? tooz Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 My pc with Vista 32 bit had a problem with the current version install. At the end of the installation I received "Installation may not have installed correctly" message. "May not have..."? There were two subsequent questions: "Yes, installed correctly--continue" and "No, not installed correctly--cancel" questions (not verbatim but this was the gist of the error message). I chose Yes, and played a bit of the US campaign. I saw the "JSH..." written on the loading screen and played normally. however, later that day I went back to ToW and the saved campaign was not visible. I did have the saved battle (Last Chance) saved and it was listed, but that gave me a CTD after the game loaded. Any idea what could have caused this? If you want to move this post to the mod forums, fine, I just hope I don't encounter a similar problem with the next version. I am now doing an unistall/reinstall.
