tenfive2 Posted May 29, 2001 Share Posted May 29, 2001 I'm using a 670 mhz.128MB ram PC with a SB Live(value)card. Unless I'm imagining this, I swear the battle sounds were louder before. The ambient sounds are plenty loud, but the battle sounds seem to be about 1/2 as loud as they were. I've deleted and reinstalled the sound card drivers. Re-installed directX (8.?)now. No joy. Did you replace/change any of your .WAV files (some are mixed louder than others) ? Have you made any changes to your volume controls (software or hardware) ? Are you running any "Environmental Effects" ?
