Berlichtingen
Tried the scenario Allah's Fist against Joe Shaw. He had the Syrians... 'cus, Syria, Utah, what's the difference? Ok, my initial forces, 2 platoons of M1s. One platoon ordered to slowly advance up the middle, one platoon quickly occupies the high ground on my left, both to see what was behind the ridge on that side and to watch the flank of my center advance. Platoon on the heights gets in position and proceeds, in one turn, to remove Joe's entire starting force. We quit that and started a new one, and I played this against the AI to see what would have happened if we'd continued. If we had, Joe's reinforcements would have arrived in plain view of my M1s on the heights. Even with the added T72s, it was like fishing in a barrel with grenades. My recommendation is only play this as Syrians against the AI

Martin Krejcirik
I got my ass handed to me by the AI the first time I played this scenario. Lost all Abrams' because I advanced too quicky and the AI reinforcements popped in and shot me up from the side.
MeatEtr
I agree, this scenario really only works against the AI playing the US. As a human would naturally take the high ground with the M1s and then it turns into a complete slaughter. I played the Syrians against the AI last night. I lost about two thirds of my entire force but was able to KO 3 M1s along with the Strykers and infantry. It was enough as I won a total victory. I also noticed the 120mm AT arty doesn't do jack against the M1s. I scored 4-5 hits with the arty but it did nothing to the M1s. I used up all the arty on 3 tanks to no effect. They oddly never moved either.
dynaman200
> As a human would naturally take the high ground with the M1s and then it turns into a complete slaughter I took the high ground and still got slaughtered. The Syrian reinforcements appeared about 100 Meters away from my tanks and shot first. If the Syrian reinforcements are time based, wait till they appear and THEN move forward. M1 firing at range takes them out easy.
Runyan99
The AI beat me, well I quit, because I gave several of my tanks cover arcs which were too restrictive, and they did nothing while the T-72s hammered 2 or 3 of my Abrams. Lesson learned.
SgtMuhammed
I rolled through this one as well. I got a little sloppy while cleaning up and lost two M1s to missile fire. While I was patient I only had one M1 mobilized while killing the entire left side force with two tanks. I don't know if this one has different plans so I will have to try it again.
