Basil_99
I have the same problem with the Paradox Retail-Version. I had the game patched to 1.05 and then applied the 106-patch for the paradox retail version. Basil_99. PanzerMike
I just tried to play the Paradox version 1.06. It crashes all the time. Clicking a unit (infantry or vehicle) is often enough to CTD. Is is totally unplayable for me :-( Bah, I was actually planning on getting into this game after waiting for a half year of patching. Seems I have to wait a little longer! Glad I am not the only one experiencing this and BFC are on it. Next time no Paradox for me...

vincere
I'm getting loads of CTDs since 1.06 paradox. Never had a CTD with SF before 1.06 Has something secondary to the first problem been identified with paradox 1.06?
Andro
vincere, there a working and a broken 1.06 in the net. Also mods or old savegames could ctd. So deinstall the game completly, install a fresh new one and download a patch form there: http://www.battlefront.com/products/cmsf/downloads.html
vincere
Andro, thanks for the heads up. I've got the second 'working' pacth. No mods installed just a user made campaign 'In Search of a Ghost'. Not use an old save either. I'm considering a fresh install, but I read that others who have done this still have the problem.
13
Same problem. CTD after 1.06 paradox. So sad, no problems until 1.06. If I'm not mistaken, seems we all are running on nvidias, though...just a thought.
13
Oh, BTW, downloaded patch twice from two different servers, same problem even after clean install.

I've reinstalled it with version 1.5 waiting for a patch that fixes the patch.... Hope we won't need a patch that patches the patch which fixes the patch...Still clear? Copy...Over and out.
Buret
CMSF stands for ... Currently Making a Software Fix ? (I enjoy poor word play)... I did the following for TOW (Tired of waiting)...
Vanitas
sorry, for my late reaction, and also sorry for my 'verbal attack' on this forum, but I just want to clarify that previous patches of CMSF didn't give any problems. Only in installing patch 1.06 I noticed crashes to my desktop everytime I opened a scenario.
