Manx
Is the IMFViewer compatible with 32bit Vista? When i try to run it, it immediately crashes. I have the .exe and it's .dll in the MissionEditor folder. Has anyone got this running through Vista, and if so, what could the problem be with mine. TIA. Dr.Jones
Hi, probably because of the DirectX issue. Install latest directxX distributable - july, I think. Also what is displayed as error? EDIT: I haven't tried it with Vista. br. Dr.Jones
Manx
Dr. Jones, Thanks for the reply. Yes, i have Directx 9.0c dated 31/07. I am just downloading an updated (August) pack for it. Will post back with the results in a short while.
Manx
No, still no good. A dialog box comes up saying: "IMFViewer has stopped working", "A Problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program". It gives you one option to click - "Close the program". God i love Vista
Dr.Jones
Ussualy, there would be some info what caused the error, do you have Dot.net 2.0 installed. Does the SFSExporter work, and do you have the IMFViewer in the same dir. as SFSExporter. br. Dr.Jones
Dr.Jones
Ok, the mission editor is not working with Vista as i read it on forum, thats why the IMF Viewer is not working also. IMFViewer is using the same procedure calls as editor. br. Dr.Jones

Philippe
Forgive me if I've been a bit out of it, but I don't wander into this part of the forum very often. Are you the Manx we all knew and loved because of his fabulous mod site for CMBO? The godfather of the non-playmobile look for Combat Mission? I remember we worked together on some of the CMMOS packs back in the day. Good to see another vet still hanging around here.
