oragus
In the German Campaign, the Seliger mission. If one gets a ATG at the deployment phase, the ATG is placed less than a 100m away from enemy trenches with no possibility of moving it? How do I fix this? oragus
Here is the screen shot of the issue. As you will see, the ATG is off in no man's land from the deployment area.
Sneaksie
It's a known bug, it's fixed in upcoming patch. You also can open this mission in editor (Missions\GERMANY\G006_Seliger) and add a artillery placeholder to where you like inside player deployment zone. oragus
Will that allow me to move it around inside the deployment zone?
oragus
Well, I put an artillery placeholder, didn't work, I put 1 specific PaK 36/37 & PaK 38 placeholders, didn't work? Then with the placeholders I added them into the reserves, still didn't work? Am I doing something wrong?
Sneaksie
There are two autosaves between missions: one at the end of previous mission and one at the beginning of current mission. You should load first autosave, second one already 'remembers' initial placeholder state without your changes in editor.
oragus
I deleted all the autosaves to prevent it from "remembering" old data. So basically, I fixed it, but because I keeping using a saved game at the beginning of the mission it is using the old data any ways, even though I deleted the autosaves? Sneaksie
If your save is from this mission, it remembers all this data. You need to load a save from previous one, auto at the end of it or manual save near end of mission.
oragus
The save file is actually at the beginning of the mission. Right after I rewarded my units for the last mission. That still too early or do I actually have to go all the back thru the campaign to get there for it to work?
Sneaksie
There should be another autosave before rewarding units, it will do.
oragus
I no longer have the autosave prior to rewarding units, I deleted them in thoughts that they were holding onto the old data. guess I will have to go to the mission prior to Seliger and play it again, go thru that and see what happens. Sneaksie
It should work... or you can just forget about bringing that gun:)
oragus
lol. I have played thru that battle a couple times now without the gun. But I want to take it with me for support and have forgotten about the bug, but this last time, really bugged me and made me go that's it. I am gonna fix this problem if I can. And now here we are.
