However, usually once per long session, his mouse freezes on him, forcing him to reboot to use the mouse again. He can send messages and use keyboard commands fine. The game appears to run properly, just no mouse movement. He can also not use the mouse on his desktop, or anywhere else in windows. He is using one of those microsoft intelli-eye laser mouse thingies. His mouse software is not updated with the latest drivers. I have the same type of mouse, but have not experienced similar problems. Anyone know what might be going on? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Schrullenhaft Posted January 22, 2001 Share Posted January 22, 2001 I've used one of the Microsoft "infrared" mice and didn't care a whole lot for it. I would get a bit of a jerkiness in it's movement/response (freezes lasting a couple of seconds) at times, though no full lock up. Is the mouse's infrared lens completely clean ? What surface is he using to "mouse" on ?
