H-street Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 Anyone know any tweaks for theatre of war? since it uses the IL2 engine do we have the options of cranking up some of the graphic options? was looking in the video.ini and its pretty light compared to the IL2 config.. anyone know what some of the options do and what their options are? PSM=1 (i assume this is pixel shader model?, only 1? can this be set to 2 or 3?) WaterQuality=2 (if set to 3 is this equivelant to IL2's perfect water setting?) ObjectsQuality=3 GrassAll=4 TreesDistLod=2 TreeDistance=2 HideBodies=1 (not sure what this is, does this leave dead bodies in the world if set to 0?) Noise=1 Sky=1 there also seems to be some more options under ww.ini, these look more like the IL2 settings SpecularLight=2 DiffuseLight=2 DynamicalLights=1 MeshDetail=2 VisibilityDistance=3 TexFlags.HardwareTL=1 TexLarge=1 TexQual=3 TexMipFilter=2 TexCompress=2 (setting this to 0 disables texture compression) TexFlags.UseAlpha=0 TexFlags.UseIndex=0 TexFlags.UseDither=1 TexFlags.UseClampedSprites=0 TexFlags.UseVertexArrays=1 TexFlags.DisableAPIExtensions=0 TexFlags.PolygonStipple=1 TexFlags.DrawLandByTriangles=1 TexFlags.SecondaryColorExt=1 Shadows=3 Specular=3 Sky=2 Forest=2 LandShading=0 LandDetails=0 LandGeom=0 ShadowsFlags.SmoothBorder=0 DrawCollisions=1 TexLandQual=0 TexLandLarge=0 PerPixelShader=1 ShaderQuality=3 seems some that are missing from IL2 are Effects HardwareShaders (this may be always set to 1 now) Water TypeClouds Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
