Apache Posted March 17, 2001 Share Posted March 17, 2001 Having done Voodoo 3 and DX8 I am tempted to see if there is an upgraded driver for my sound card. Sound id OK at the moment though. Dirtweasle Posted March 17, 2001 Share Posted March 17, 2001 I just found a patch/update file at dell support last night called bassfix.exe Apparently there is some weird interaction between the sub-woofer cross-over logic and the SB Live! in 4 speaker surrround mode. After D/Ling the patch and playing with the env. audio settings, it does seem like my subwoofer is now giving better "punch" to the low bass hits. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
