kj
Trying to install on Linux - Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 but getting an error when running the script (as user and root) ./InstallData/bin/LinuxInstall: error while loading shared libraries: libaa.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory and that lib file is not in the lib folder in the install dir. Thought I would check here before I went on a lib hunt ? Any ideas ?
ClaytoniousRex
Hi, kj. See a few posts down in this thread. There are direct links for the libs you need in that thread (you can drop them into the lib subdir of DropTeam).
poesel
Better yet install libaa1 from the paket manager. A bit strange though because libaa is IIRC a standard install.
kj
Thanks for that could not find that thread myself using search. All is installed now. Forgot to mention that I was runing amd64 fyi I had to add the following libs to the install dir and to my lib32 dir. libaa.so.1 libslang-utf8.so.1 libgpm.so.1 libsncurses.so.5 All were in fact installed already but as presumably 64bit could not be used ? someday we will start seeing native 64bit stuff I guess [ September 11, 2006, 04:27 AM: Message edited by: kj ]
