gravyface1
Just wondering if you can modify a custom campaign mid-game. I.e. if I make some changes to a campaign, and load up an existing save game, will the changes show up in the save game? Moonslayer
I don't have the definitive answer but I suppose as you cannot modify the save game files then the answer would have to be 'no'. The game only starts off from the campaign set up... saved games are based on the original campaign set up but do not refrence the altered campaign once the game has started. Think of it like a gun (the campaign) firing a bullet (a game). The bullet will continue to take the same trajectory even if you 'improve' the gun after it has fired. In order to benefit from the gun's modifications you would have to fire another bullet (ie start a new game). I hope I have not confused you by this nonsense
gravyface1
No, thats what I figured too. I spent a good 4 hours on Sunday with a hex editor on one of the saved games -- no dice. They've obviously obfuscated the file so that's out of the question.
