Sure thing Maj. Spinello, I was thinking of expanding it anyway.

I was wondering what you were going to do about the UK capital? (since britain isn't on this map...) New Dehli maybe? (Far East Command)

Would it be best to simulate Chiang Kai Shek's nationalists and Communists separately? Did they have separate zones of control?

I put the british capital at New Dehli. Thats a great map, but mine goes into australia/NZ and pretty far into India, and qy, thanks for the update. Im thinking about just making china communist pop-up like partisans, but if anyone has a better suggestion please do tell.

Well, You idea on Chinese communists is quite good, and if combined with the following, it would be excellent: I think that for Chinese communist, there should also be one regular army and one corp, one is the 18th army, and one is the New 4th corp. These two armies are regular army in the order of the Nationalist China land forces.

and qy, i have the pictures of the cities saved on my computer, but how do i use them in the editor? I've tried to put it in the subdirectory folder and importing it, but its not working, do you know how to do it? Thanks.

They should be put into bmp file, I’ll help you later.

Warlords should be closed in thinkingon country's like Xianxi (under Manchoekwo), Xibei Mai (on te left of communist china) Ghuanxi Clique (south kost of china (hainan) and Sinkiang (far east china). Menchoekwo must be installed after occupation of inner mongolia.

Well, warlords in China at that time are not so strong as in the 1920’s and 1930’s, in fact except for XinJiang (Sinkiang as you mentioned, however, nowadays, these kinds of spelling of Chinese name are not used, and most Chinese don’t know where or who they are ;) ), which is under rule of warlord Shicai Sheng. For Xianxi (I think this should be spelled as ShanXi better) only the north part is under the control of communists. For Ghuanxi (which should be spelled as Guang Xi), Si Chuan, Qing Hai, the former warlords had already swore obedience to the central government. Menchoekwo ( Which should be spelled as Zhedong Mao) and other communist army also recognized the central government. So I think no need to simulate the warlords.

What’s more, during the war against Japan, the former warlords and their army are under the unified command of the nationalist government, e.g. the GuangXi warlord Chongxi Bai and Zongren Li, and the Si Chuan warlord Xiang Liu.

Still working on getting the angles right. I'm also working on some US Navy fighters. It would be great if Carrier's could carry them...

The picture is very good!

If the perspective angles can be modified (the right wing of most planes) it would be better.

However, there is one question, the Japanese never build a jet plane... So it would be better to limit their aircraft tech at level 4, but the original level is 2 for the "Zero".

QY Panzer I would certainly make Communist China a coutry for they were pushed back to norht central china after the Great March. Menchoekwo is a puppet state of Japan actually, just like Machoekwo whit emperor Pu-Yi. Warlords are certainly important and Sinkiang is has not sworn allegiance to Chiang'Kai Check so that's quite important. The Guanxi Clique was actually at war with China in 1936 and Shanxi was at war with Japan before Nationalists were. Also when the Nanjing slaughter took place china moved it's industry to Chongying along with their capital. Communist China and the Nationalist were at war with each other and with Japan.

Those planes look good, but maybe u should take qy's advice and make them reach their full potential. Having chinese partisan-like units would be the best idea IMO, but maybe i can add a script that lets say 25% of the time the communist partisans join the nationalists and fight against the Japanese.

I finally know what "Menchoekwo" now... :( It is Manchuria. tongue.gif This kind of spelling is no longer used in China, so it is too hard for me to know it, in fact, I mistake it as "Mao Zhe Dong", leader of Communist China. Excuse me;)

If your scenario starts from 1936, then for Communist and Nationalist China, in fact, after 1936.12.12 Xi An Incident, the war between them stopped, communist China accept that Nationalist China is the Government of China, and the Communist China's Red Army evolved into the 18th army and the New 4th corp of Nationial China land forces.

For GuangXi warlords, the warlord Li Zong Ren and Chen Ji Tang launch a "anti-Chiang'Kai Check" campaign in 1936.6 in order to ask Chiang'Kai Check to fight with Japan, but in 1936.7, they obey to Chiang'Kai Check again, and their army become the 5th Route Army (Army Group) of Nationalist China.

For Shanxi, there is a warlord Yan Xi Shan, who joined the anti Chiang'Kai Check war in 1927, then obey the rule of Chiang'Kai Check. Though he is the real ruler of Shan Xi, but from 1927, he always obeyed to the central government.

For Chongying, I don't know where it is? Do you mean Chong Qing? A city in Si Chuan Province.

Japan did in fact develop a jet fighter, which only flew once before the end of the war. It was based on the Me-162, so I think it would be ok to use it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nakajima_Kikka

Yes, You're right, I make the mistake.

In fact, Japanese imitated both me262 and me163

this is Mitsubishi J8M (Sword Stroke) which is the copy of me163

And Nakajima Kikka (Orange Blossom ) Which is the copy of me262

However, the first flighttest of Sword Stroke fails in 1945.1.8, before the end of war, the problem causing the failier is solved, but the war ends. The first flighttest of Orange Blossom is in 1945.8.7, it succeeded but after 4 days the plane cracked, and then the war ended.

In fact, both communist and nationalist had partisans, communist in both north china and south china, and nationalist mainly in south china.

Well, I know what it is now. Thanks smile.gif

The Chinese spell used in 1920~1930s are too difficult for me to master their meanings:) Because they are no longer used. That kind of speel is a mixture of both Chinese and English pronounciation, so it often puzzles me.

I fixed the perspective on the planes. I'm still not sure in which order they should go (more or less chronological now). I don't know about putting in the J2M (4th Japanese fighter) as it was an interceptor mainly.

Also added American carrier planes: F4U, F6F, FM-2 and SBD.

Thank qy, those look great!

Now to find a bamboo forest...

if the border of the figure is smoothed, it would be better.
