Major Spinello
Nope, Dave said he´ll aim for a "weekend release". I can´t wait to finally test those scripts!

Honch
I'm working on getting Timskorn's Allied AI working in the scenario right now. Hopefully by tomorrow, its really hot here and I don't feel like sitting inside much.
Major Spinello
Probably this is not of interest anymore, but in version 3 I seem not to be able to get the Japanese troops off the arrow - the transport stays there turn after turn ...
Honch
I am uploading version 4 to cmmods at this moment. It includes Normal Dude's Axis AI and Timskorn's Allied AIs. Those new AIs will not cover the regions I have added such as East Africa, Siberia and India but the basic AI should be sufficient for those areas. I have added a significant number of new event scripts for historical events such as annexations, new units, war entry etc. Please let me know if any of them don't work as intended. Have fun!
Honch
Major, try the new naval loops in the new version and see if they work. The old Japan to Indian Ocean loop is gone.
Honch
Oh yes, I hae also revamped the starting OOBs and production queues based on actual information (and my WIF OOBs).
Major Spinello
Sounds great again, Dave! I´ll download the new version in a few moments. I´m looking forward to find out how the new AI scripts will effect the scenario. Unfortunately, I will be quite busy in the days to come (weekend included), so it may take longer than usual for me to report back with testing results. ...
Fartknock3r
hey, downloaded the mod, looks great! but there aren't any scrips in effect.... and when i check the scripts in the option's menu, there arent any...
ChrisND
I fixed that problem. Honch, you forgot to upload the scripts in the editor. Anyone who has downloaded the scenario: Open the campaign in the editor and upload the AI and event scripts. Then save the game. Be prepared to wait a long time though, the AI scripts are so massive it took me almost 45 minutes just to upload them.
Major Spinello
Same here, and the strange thing is that the folder with scripts is where it should be ... quick guess: maybe something is wrong with the name of the campaign folder ? Btw Dave it is really impressive how you draw those huge maps with all these details. The only downside of the new map is that now we have all this new terrain, it is sad to see those big chunks of "neutral" areas East of Novosibirsk and Siam. They somehow look much more detracting than the neutral zones in Africa.
ChrisND
Yes the scripts are in the correct folders, but the game will not use them unless they are uploaded into the campaign file using the editor.
Major Spinello
Oh ... your post came in between, Normal Dude. As I can´t really play until Sunday anyway, maybe I´ll just wait and see whether a newly "compiled" version is available then.
Honch
oops, I thought I had this working. I'll fix it tomorrow. I also forgot to add some weather. That willbe done as well.
Gorgin
ND, "Yes the scripts are in the correct folders, but the game will not use them unless they are uploaded into the campaign file using the editor." How exactly do I do that?
ChrisND
Open the campaign using the SC 2 Editor. Next, open the Event scripts. Click the Upload button. Repeat this with the AI scripts. Save the game and exit. Note, don't quit or close the program if it appears to freeze, it may just be verifying scripts.
Gorgin
Thanks ND. BTW in my version of the Editor (at least) the button to look for is UPDATE not UPLOAD.
Honch
The corrected version is uploaded with properly compiled scripts and weather.
Honch
I will add French-Indo China, Malaya, the remainder of Siberia and at least Western China soon. I need a break and some new scripting possibilities.
imported_Rick_Allen
Honch, Very good scenario by the way. I do have a couple of questions: In the version before Version 4, when Germany defeated Poland, the Russian did not annex Eastern Poland. Has this been resolved in your new version? Also, how do you capture a port not attached to a city?
Honch
Yes, its back in. Just take the land tile next to a port and you get the port.
Major Spinello
Dave, you have really earned the break! And I´m looking forward to see the map "filled out" sometime in the future.

Like you did with Cheese Panzers.
Honch
Major was a big help in getting the historical details correct. I think that we made a pretty good team.
