Panzer Ace
will we be able to mod units like in the BO BB AK games
Slappy
As far as I can tell, all of the actual unit representations for the tactical battle will be in BB, so sure. Mod your CMBB and it will mod in CMC. As for the strategic level, if that's what you meant, I'm not sure. The UI and the other graphics look pretty similar to the CM skins, so my guess is that it will be modable.
Hunter
Yes, the units will be moddable (in terms of how they look), but not in terms of how they are (which is dictated by CMBB). It will also be possible to mod the terrain, and add in new stuff.
Bluefish
How about unit names? The ability to give the leader of your command your own name would be a nice touch.

The editor of a campaign can do that, yes.

By “adding stuff" do you mean re-skinning or literally being able to add additional objects to terrain.
Hunter
Adding additional (non functional) things to the terrain
WindyCity
Outstanding, I thank you for the reply

kump
Obviously it has no impact to CMBB, and I think that is the correct assumption. Non-functional = "cosmetic only" to me. Data behind it remains, woods = woods, though you modified the woods graphic tile to look like statue of liberty, it is still woods when transition into CMBB for tactical play. So I am assuming it means someone may have a mod to turn CMC campaign maps into martian landscapes (in addition to unit/group graphics), but nothing actually changes functionally. And that means no martians (or space lobsters) jumping out of the red shrubs mowing down your Panzer Grenadiers in CMBB. They will be reds none the less, but not of the martian variety.
Hunter
kump, correct. YOu can change the look of the woods or you can add a 'beauty' which is a specific non-functional thingy to a quadrant to make it look cool. Nothing changes in CMBB.
