cyborg
Does anyone know if Im doing something wrong or there is a problem with the game. I use the "pause" function on tanks and troops and most of the times they ignore this command. I set the instructions to move and press pause and the time is display above the object but in the next move (PBEM) they ignore this command. This is frustrating because sometimes timing is everything.
slug88
I've never encountered a problem with this. Are you sure you're giving them a pause at the correct waypoint? It sounds like you may be intending for them to pause before they move, but you're mistakenly giving them a pause order at their last waypoint.
cyborg
uhmmm...you mean I must press pause first then design my path. I have created the path first then I press pause until I get the desired delay time. Perhaps thats my problem. Wow, thanks I will try that.
slug88
Yep. You can assign a pause for each leg of the waypoint; simply click on the white pyramid at the end of each movement path to select that waypoint. Similarily, you can assign targets, cover arcs, smoke, and other things I may be forgetting for each point.
Huntarr
Don't push the button that says "DEATHBLOSSOM http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=002928;p=2#000027 http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=004014#000005 These might help. You select the waypoint you want the pause at then you give it the amount of pause you want (15 sec increments)

MD82
Should make this a sticky.
Exel
No, that doesn't solve it. I too have had plenty of frustration with the pause commands being ignored. Other times they work fine, so it's not about using them wrong - they are plain ignored, whether they are on any waypoint or the starting position of the vehicle.
