Guest MajorH
This is the first report of this that I know of. I built the Windows installer for Combat Mission with the latest version of InstallShield Pro 2000. There is no 'data3.cab' in the CM installer so it should not be looking for or expecting one. I just double checked the installer script and it looked OK. All of the game files are on the CD (in uncompressed format) in the folders titled Bmp, Mov, Scenarios, and Wav. Try to copy the missing files for the full install by simply drag-copying them from those folders on the CD to folders of the same name on your hard drive. If they all copy without complaint from the Windows op system then your CD is probably good. Which version of Windows are you running? Is your version of Windows set up with a language other than U.S. English? How old is your CDROM drive in years? Is your CDROM drive an ordinary CDROM or is it a combination CDROM/DVD? ------------------ Best regards, Major H majorh@mac.com
