Sequoia
In CMX1 the largest armor formation one could select in the scenario editor was a platoon. Will we be able to select an armor company in CMX2 with its attendent C.O.'s and X.O.'s tanks that could take command of a platoon if needed?
rudel.dietrich
Yes Syria has armoued companies in its TO&E and I am going to assume so too does the US. Batallions are also included
Battlefront.com
Yes, we simulate TO&E all the way up to Battalion level and then some Regimental/Brigade and Divisional formations separately. The way the TO&E purchase feature works is you generally have to purchase a full battalion. The purchased units show up in the "Available Units" list which is what is theoretically available for the battle. You then delete the units you don't want from the "Available Units" list. When that's done you create an "Order of Battle" from the "Available Units", which is the battle specific customized organization (i.e. task forces). We had to do it this way so as to have organic chains of command be represented. Steve
Sequoia
That sounds excellent. Thanks for all the bones you've been feeding me.
