how do I take screen grab thru the night vision goggles? (thermal vision view?)

I have seen one sreen shot posted here somewhere showing the green thermal image of the night time battle field.

How in the game do I get a look through the night vision goggles?

Where is the thermal imaging view?

(Sorry, I have searched the manual and the forum and this one escapes me.)

I saw that image, and IIRC it was photoshopped.

Or I too have not found the right buttons to press!

I think that was a modified screen shot. I don't think you can get a NOD view. At least I haven't found it yet.

I did not know the image was photoshopped that's why I asked

(I have proof read the manual and I think I know the interface of the game, but there is always something new to learn, so I posted the question here.)

Ever since seeing the night vision screen shot I have been wondering how they did that, (photoshop is a good answer of course.)

Night vision goggles work via image intensification, i.e., amplification of whatever light's available.

Thermal viewers operate in the IR band and work via displaying the contrast between the object and its background. Two entirely different technologies!
