For the ASUS GeForce boards I've heard that people sometimes have problems if they use the NVidia Reference drivers, so you may want to stick with the ASUS released ones (I'm not sure if it is just a loss of certain features or if these users had consistent lockup problems with the NVidia Reference drivers). ASUS Released drivers (based on 5.33, the BETAs posted on ASUS' site are older than the "released" version): http://www.asus.com.tw/Products/Addon/Vga/asuse/enthusiast_drv.htm The other thing to try first is to enable and/or force FSAA in DirectX apps.
