Darkmath Posted October 26, 2006 Share Posted October 26, 2006 I made a little test with a Regular US squad in a light small building being fired by an HMG42 120 metres away. The squad get pinned at the end of the first turn, but doesn't seem to took any or very few casualty. I make again the test with a Regular Infantry 44 Heer squad vs. M2HB. Nearly the same results, but the infantry had a casualty at the beginning of the second turn. This with the fact canister shell have the same effectiveness against infantry in a building as in a wood (no cover but a lot of concealment), I'm affraid small arms penetration towards different terrain element is not explicitly modelled in CMX1, except against vehicles (M2 is an excellent automatic AT rifle in the game ) It is a problem for terrain elements like buildings or walls.
