Ammo Type...

Hi all...

I am new to the forum. I managed to complete the game in Campaign mode and even though I still have some questions regarding the different ammo types...

I kind of know every type for that tank but it will be difficult for me to translate them in english smile.gif

Somewhere in the middle of the game I got stuck with ussing mainly the first and second type of ammo...

The OFS follows the scale on the aiming reticle based on the distance, the first one shoots straight to about 1000-1200 meters, but the third one needs a lot of elevation to get a direct hit...

With the first ammo type a T72 needs something like 2-3 shots to destroy it....

The OFS does little if any damage to tanks (I know it is for infantry and low armor vehicles)

The third one should be able to destroy tanks with no more than 1-2 shots, but shooting a T72 from 1300 meters is very difficult with this ammo...

I use manual elevation adjustment on max and reticle is somewhere halfway over the enemy tank in order to get a hit...

Can someone give any tips or guidelines to how effectively to shoot with the third ammo type?

Tnx

Do not shoot smile.gif

Stop enemy tank with BPS, then close distance and finish him with single BKS. Do not try to hit his tower or front armor - aim between hull and tower, between wheels , sides of engine's chamber. BKS demands very strict angle of hit to penetrate steel. Basically it isnt good ammo type against moving targets becouse of low speed.
