undead reindeer cavalry Posted February 18, 2005 Share Posted February 18, 2005 first of all, i do notice the story is a fictional one and i haven't read all info from the website. still, any chances that the terrain will become more realistic (judging from the screenshots it looks more like Afghanistan than Balkans at the moment)? will BattleFront touch such aspects of the game? any chances of covering the Croatian "Operation Storm"? what about fictional land conflict at Kosovo (Serbs vs NATO)? or in general: do the missions relate to real world battles in any ways? will buy anything as long as it covers Operation Storm... 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Moon Posted February 18, 2005 Share Posted February 18, 2005 The campaign missions are in no way tied to real events. The campaign story line is fictional. Of course people will be able to depict more historical events by using the editor (and this includes a map editor, so you can make what you think is more realistic terrain for the Balkans), within certain limits of course. What we will be touching on are mainly some game mechanics and the like. We won't and cannot revamp the entire game to be something else than what it is, like create an entirely new campaign. Although perhaps we could add some more standalone missions.
