Schrullenhaft
The Prefs file is in the root of the directory you installed the CMBB Demo in, which by default is C:\PROGRAM FILES\CMBB DEMO. If you're unable to select a resolution, then most likely the Prefs file isn't being generated (on a Mac I believe that the desktop resolution is used automatically). Are you on a Mac or a PC ? If on a PC what version of Windows, version of DirectX, video card and driver version do you have loaded ? If you're on a Mac what OS, Mac, video card and video driver do you have ?

Schrullenhaft
Since replies are spread out all over the forum today.... Look in one of the threads about monitor resolution and tell me what selecting an unique monitor definition along with the highest refresh rate for your desktop does. It's possible that the Demo is attempting to use a refresh rate that your monitor can't handle.
