Dan Verssen Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Well, we almost had news. Give us a little more time. You see, I have this interesting curse, whenever a programmer agrees to work with me on a game, his life gets turned upside-down within 2 weeks.* * If you are a programmer, and you're thinking of working with me on a game, please ignore this warning of doom and gloom. I'm sure you'll be immune.
Beastttt Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Any news yet also are you going to your modern naval battles also in this format Originally posted by Dan Verssen: Well, we almost had news. Juergen2SS Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 Ummm Are we there yet? LOL Great Naval Battles of WWII, that was an excellent game.. just needs better graphics, and better AI-and acurate depiction of the naval ships with color schemes.
SturmSebber Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Any news yet? I own the cardgame, and a promotional flyer for this game was included...i've been holding out for it ever since (2 years or so)....

MCB Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Morning all, Just wondering if there is any life in this project or if it is a foregone conclusion? Thanks for any information. MCB
richardrbross Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 i thought it was due up 2005,,its 2009,,,did i miss something
Double Deuce Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I was really hoping this one would make it.
MCB Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I should think they (BF) should at least have the respect for the game and the customers to remove the topic from the forum. Who wants to stare abject failure in the face day in and day out? Too painful...
Sixxkiller Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 No one has said its officially canceled. Dan isnt a programmer so he is at the mercy of finding one. And sales of DIF werent what they should have been for as great of a designed game as it is, so I wouldnt blame Dan if he took more time.
cinacchi Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Anybody knows a good naval warfare game Harpoon style, but not so old?
Beastttt Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Matrix has an updated version of Harpoon CE is based on the old harpoon the other version Advanced harpoon looked to clunky to me I have CE and it plays fine for me I also have the updated version of Fleet command and still play Fighting Steel evey now and then using the updates from NWS PT Boats KotS is another that I had just about given up on till I saw an update on it on the Wargamer.com Anybody knows a good naval warfare game Harpoon style, but not so old?
