bartbert Posted August 29, 2005 Share Posted August 29, 2005 I did a search on that error, and one possible cause is that the shortcut to the game has somehow been set to run in Win98 compatibility mode. Right-click on the shortcut to bring up its properties page. If there is a "Compatibility" tab, click on it and uncheck the Win98 compatibility check box.
