Liberating the UK and her MPPs

In a recent hotseat game, my Axis opponent did a successful Sealion and then took the Middle East, forcing Britain to surrender (oops).

I knew that Britain's MPPs from Canada and other (short-lived) minors would go into a special savings account rather than to the US. However, when the US later liberated Britain, the account stayed locked and Britain stayed unavailable.

I assumne that this was because Cairo was the last registered British capital, but is it really supposed to be that way?

After all, France resurrects at the drop of a hat whether you want it or not, and I definitely wanted the 1000+ MPPs in the account and the extra unit slots that go with it.

You might want to repost this in the Tech Support forum, as this sounds like something that should be patched.
