Not really, the moron did lose.

Napoleon is the poster boy for "Absolute power corrupts" . He was a decent man before he became emperor and did some amazing reforms for France that are seen throughout the world today in every country. But he though of himself as invincible as he became more powerfull.

Perhaps he was compensating for something? Come to think of it Stalin and Hitler were both a little on the short side.

It’s a pity expensive phallic sports cars weren’t available in those days, a lot less people might have died!

Napoleone'...instituted the 'Metric' system to standardize measurement's so that he could have the war armament's industry standardize ammunition...weapon's...etc!.

He also changed the education system to make it so that the commoner's had access to public education!...not just the priveleged and the rich!.

He instituted the 1st military 'Ambulance Service' to take care of wounded soldier's!.

He also instituted an independent battlefield supply wing to his army,...in order to make ammunition, food supplies, replacement weapon's, etc available for the Armies in the feild!.

Hannut, in Belgium, in 1940 could be counted as a tactical victory. Two French armored divisions hit two German. Germans lost about 125 tanks, 15 more than the French.

But then, these french armored divisions were in the wrong place if the other side was going to drive the rest of his armored down bad roads through the woods. Only nuts like Hitler and Guderian...

What matter's here is Leadership, Equipment, Tactic's & Strategy!. If any one of those are below Muster, then the price in live's will be higher!.

The Romans also destroyed the Briton's in at least as grevious the casualties as Blashy stated for the French,...i think that the Briton's losses were even much worse!.
