derekd11
Hello, My Hardware/System: Creative Annihilator GeForce2 GTS 32mb. Asus A7v MB. Windows 2k. CURRENTLY RUNNING NVIDIA 6.47 drivers. -- I tried to upgrade to the new official Nvidias on the website, 6.50 and I get insane flickering and tearing in CM. Anyone see this problem ? Which is the best driver for CM ? thanks, Derek.

Guest Madmatt
The flicking text is a problem with almost every version of Nvidia drivers and is due to some incompatability between W2K and the drivers themselves. I have been doing testing on this myself and while I have heard that a much older version of the Det 3 drivers do indeed eliminate the flickering I haven't yet got to them (IIRC they are built on the 3.68 series). You didnt menation if your 6.47 drivers are flicking or not. If they are not then just stick with them. If they do, then hopefully I will have some new info after I finish all my testing or by then Nvidia will have released a new version with this issue fixed. TeAcH
I have the ELSA GeForce 2 GTS and use Win2k, 6.47 Det and DX 8.0a. When I go into my advanced Direct3D options and force FSAA in in all applications (even at the lowest fsaa setting), the transparent/flashing text problem is fixed. Try it. It'll fix it for you.
