Has anyone ever coaxed a crew back into an abandoned AFV???

As i understand it, in a scenario where there's more than one battle, if a vehicle isn't destroyed or its crew all dead, then it can be repaired and crewed up at the end of the battle ready the next one. That's why it's best to keep shooting at abondoned vehicles until they're destroyed.

This doesn't matter in quick battles.

To state it just a bit more precisely, it is in "operations" that abandoned vehicles can be repaired and brought back. In both quick battles and other scenarios, crews never return to abandoned vehicles, guns or mortars.

So in operations it's a good idea, as stated, to kill abandoned AFVs and also to keep your crews alive, since they're required to crew the abandoned vehicles.
