John Kettler Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 Am running Firefox 1.07 under Mac OS X 10.4 and am frustrated that when I try to cut and paste a URL via the URL button, I can't complete the vital final step. Everything's fine until I pull down the Edit menu to do the Paste, at which point I find the entire menu's grayed out and nonfunctional. This is a pain because it forces me to rely on the full URL's being short enough to fit or potentially enduring the barbs of fellow gamers now looking at an oversized page. I never had this problem with Netscape and confess myself baffled, especially considering how much better Firefox is than Netscape 4.8 ever was. Thoughts? Suggestions? Schrullenhaft Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 I'm not sure why the Edit menu is grayed out, possibly due to the way the child-window comes up. Instead of using the menus, use the keyboard shortcuts (Command-C: Copy, Command-V: Paste), hopefully those will get you going. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
